According to the central electricity authority regulations any institution having an electrical connection or apparatus of up to 650 volts needs to follow the safety guidelines as described in the regulation but those who are operating any electrical installation of 650V and more need to obtain an approval from the electrical inspector. It is granted only after due inspection by the authorities.
